Pamela Love

Pamela Love is a New York based jewellery designer who began crafting her creations in her Brooklyn apartment after failing to find jewellery she liked. Love's eye catching designs quickly enabled her to transform her new passion into a full-time highly successful career. The designer has collaborated with the likes of Marchesa, Twenty8Twelve, Yigal Azrouel, Frank Tell, Zac Posen, Rogan Gregory, Opening Ceremony and Topshop.

Precious stones, 14kt gold, and unusual shapes combine with mythical, romantic and bohemian themes to create some really unique pieces. The colour palette uses turquoise greens, sea blues, terracotta reds and earthy tones reminiscent of both the Mediterranean and the American Southwest, a place Love admits to being heavily influenced by. It's the kind of jewellery you might discover on holiday and forever treasure. You can't help but drool over Love's creations and admire her DIY can-do attitude!

Featured // Closet Visit

Jeana Sohn (pictured bottom) is the brains behind the genius site Closet Visit. Artist and photographer Sohn came up with the idea of visiting stylish and creative closets as a way to spend some time away from her studio. By photographing the women and their belongings in their own environment Sohn offers an intimate portrait into the lives of others, adding further insight with a short Q&A to accompany each visit. In the wrong hands the concept could feel intrusive but Sohn gets the tone just right creating a real sense of ease; when looking through the images it almost feels like visiting a friend. The result is some truly beautiful and inspiring images that reflect individual personal style. If you haven't come across the site yet be sure to take a look, just be prepared to lose a few hours doing so.
