Featured // Closet Visit

Jeana Sohn (pictured bottom) is the brains behind the genius site Closet Visit. Artist and photographer Sohn came up with the idea of visiting stylish and creative closets as a way to spend some time away from her studio. By photographing the women and their belongings in their own environment Sohn offers an intimate portrait into the lives of others, adding further insight with a short Q&A to accompany each visit. In the wrong hands the concept could feel intrusive but Sohn gets the tone just right creating a real sense of ease; when looking through the images it almost feels like visiting a friend. The result is some truly beautiful and inspiring images that reflect individual personal style. If you haven't come across the site yet be sure to take a look, just be prepared to lose a few hours doing so.

Annlouise Landelius Bag

I have a new obsession and I blame Pinterest . Since stumbling across this beauty courtesy of a fellow pinner I can't get this Annlouise Landelius bag out of my mind. I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a medium-sized bucket bag for a while now and this one is perfect, the only sticking point is the price. When you consider each bag is handmade by Annlouise herself in top quality Italian leather with heavy duty zips and solid brass hardwear they are worth every penny. Unfortunately pennies I don't have. Alas the search continues, in the mean time I'll continue salivating over this one. To see more from Annlouise and her A.L.L label visit her website here.

Role Model // Jane Birkin

Jane Birkin is one cool lady. The actress and one time lover of the late Serge Gainsbourgh has style by the bucket-load. Combining a quirky English asethetic with a dose of French chic Jane became the epitome of sixties cool. Her long limbs, bohemian attitude, model looks and ability to achieve laid back cool as well as polished red-carpet glamour all means she long since cemented her credentials as a bona fide fashion icon. Well if it's good enough for Hermes......

Stella McCartney Resort 2013

I love Stella McCartney's 2013 Resort Collection. There are so many different elements to the collection that it shouldn't really work, but boy does it! It's a heady mix of lace, fringing, leopard print, floral, day-glo and metallics. The tailoring is so on-point with exquisite flared pants that nod to the seventies, sixties shift shapes and even nineties bomber jackets. The palette is a riot of colour but also offers some lovely monochrome pieces. As a final triumph the styling and photography in these shots couldn't be more right.
